This project involved collaborating with a real estate developer to create a unique brand film for a set of luxury townhouses located in a prestigious area of Canberra. The goal was to move beyond traditional real estate marketing by creating a visceral and emotional connection with the target audience.
As motion designer and 3D artist, I was tasked with developing a series of abstract, textural scenes. My creative process was inspired by the materials used in the townhouses' design. I translated the feeling of the stone, timber, and glass materials into a series of 3D animations that lived in the brand film and as a looping element too.
Each abstract scene was designed to evoke a specific mood, encouraging viewers to feel the quality of the materials. The individual scenes were also highly versatile; they were used as standalone looping visuals within the main brand film and were further adapted for large-scale banners displayed at the construction site.
